Earth is the petri dish
An alien spore fell to Earth. You are the bloom.
Download on the App StoreEvery hex carries its actual country, climate band and a share of that nation's real population. Bangladesh really is the densest ground on Earth.
The bloom moves hex to hex on its own, along coastlines and through 554 real air and sea routes. You spend Biomass to push it further.
Countries raise alert levels, seal borders, quarantine hexes and send purge teams that burn your colonies back โ including ground you had consumed.
Every functioning, wealthy nation funds Cure Research. Spreading fast gets you noticed, and getting noticed is what kills you.
Transmission, Resilience and Virulence. Airborne spread, cold tolerance, quarantine bypass โ bought with Genome you earn by infecting.
Between outbreaks the Lab cultures Xenite in real time, even while the app is closed, and buys permanent upgrades for every future run.
Questions, bugs, or lost progress โ email me and I'll get back to you.
support@ghaemi.usFor bug reports it helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, which strain and response level you were playing, and roughly what day of the run it happened on.
Will I lose a run if the app closes?
No. The full state of an outbreak is written to your device every ten seconds and whenever the app goes to the background, so a run survives being force-quit or terminated by iOS. On the next launch the menu offers to resume it.
Does my progress sync between devices?
Not currently. Everything is stored on the device that made it, and deleting the app deletes it.
I lost my progress. Can you restore it?
Because saves stay on your device and are never sent anywhere, there is no server-side copy to restore from. Get in touch before reinstalling โ that is the point at which it becomes unrecoverable.
Why does the Lab stop culturing after a while?
Idle Xenite is capped at twelve hours. Past that it stops accumulating, so there is nothing to gain from leaving the app closed for days.
Does it need an internet connection?
Never. Xenobloom is entirely offline and makes no network requests at all.
Effective 9 September 2026
Xenobloom does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
There is no account to create, no sign-up and no profile. The app asks for no personal information, and none is transmitted to the developer or to anyone else.
Game progress. Your unlocks, statistics and any outbreak in progress are written to local storage on your device and stay there. Xenobloom does not sync to iCloud or to any other service. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
No network activity. Xenobloom makes no network requests of any kind. It contains no code for contacting a server, and it is fully playable with no connection. The world map ships inside the app; nothing is downloaded.
What Xenobloom does not do:
Children. Xenobloom collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Changes. If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
